When submitting a transfer for a school that is outside of your section they will be receiving an email with a link to respond for when the student was at their school. They don't have a CIF Home account for your section so they are dependent on getting that link to respond. Sometimes emails get caught up in spam folders or deleted so there is another way that you can email them the link. You will have to click on Eligibility & Waivers from the left navigation bar, click on the yellow folder icon for the transfer in question and then click on the "View Form" button on the top right of the screen. From there you will want to scroll down to where it says "Former School" and then there is a "Former School Request Response URL" that you can copy and paste in an email to the previous school.
Sometimes emailing them isn't always going to work so we suggest that you call the former school and send them the email on the phone and ask them to confirm that they received it and will fill out. Generally it should just take them a matter of minutes to fill out.
